Media Buyer

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute media buying strategies across channels (digital, social, programmatic, TV, radio, OOH, print as needed).
- Negotiate rates, placements, and added value with media vendors to maximize ROI.
- Manage campaign set-up, trafficking, pacing, and optimization to ensure delivery and performance.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign results, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams (strategy, creative, analytics, client services) to ensure alignment of media with overall campaign objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with media trends, platform updates, and emerging channels in the Canadian market.
- Manage budgets and ensure campaigns deliver within scope and timelines.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of media buying experience (agency or in-house).
- Hands-on experience with digital buying platforms (Google Ads, Meta, Programmatic DSPs); exposure to traditional buying an asset.
- Strong negotiation and vendor relationship management skills.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and campaign management tools.
- Knowledge of the Canadian media landscape is required.
